Software Engineer, Intern/Co-op

Meta's Software Engineering Internship is a 12-week summer program for talented students running from May to August 2026. Interns work on groundbreaking projects across Meta's family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger) and Reality Labs. Opportunities exist in Menlo Park, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, NYC, LA, and ~60 other global offices. Responsibilities: design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software; manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables; work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers. Requirements: currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related technical field; expected graduation between December 2026 and July 2027; solid grasp of programming concepts in C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript; experience with data structures and algorithms. Compensation approximately $51.35/hour plus $2,600/month housing stipend.
