Trading Intern - Summer 2026

Akuna Capital's Trading Internship is a 10-week program in Chicago where interns learn the quantitative and strategic foundations of options market making. Interns attend a rigorous trading bootcamp covering probability theory, options pricing, and risk management, then shadow traders on the floor. They participate in live trading simulations and present case studies to senior traders. Ideal candidates are penultimate-year undergraduates in mathematics, finance, engineering, or economics who enjoy quick problem-solving under pressure.
