GAO Summer 2026 Student Intern, Financial Markets and Community Investment

The U.S. Government Accountability Office's Financial Markets and Community Investment team hires Summer 2026 graduate student interns to support engagements auditing federal financial regulators, housing finance programs, and consumer protection agencies. Work includes reviewing agency documents, interviewing federal officials, drafting report sections, and analyzing financial and program data. Paid at GS-7/9 depending on degree progress. Hybrid in Washington, DC. U.S. citizenship required. Master's students in public policy, economics, finance, or accounting are preferred.
