Johns Hopkins Summer 2026 Internship - Applied Physics Laboratory

The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is hiring a Summer 2026 intern in its Research and Exploratory Development Department at the Laurel, MD campus. The 10-12 week internship runs May-August 2026. Interns contribute to projects spanning biomedical engineering, computational biology, medical imaging, and digital health. Specific projects may include neural interface design, infectious disease modeling, and health AI. Candidates should be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative biomedical field. U.S. citizenship is required. Pay is $22-$42/hour.
