2026 Summer Associate Program

Simpson Thacher's 2026 Summer Associate Program runs for approximately 10 weeks in the firm's New York, Washington D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, and Palo Alto offices. Summer associates rotate through practice groups including M&A, private equity, capital markets, credit, litigation, and tax. The program includes formal training sessions, pro bono opportunities, partner mentorship, and social events. Weekly salary is at market rate (approximately $4,615). The firm accepts 2L applications via OCI and direct application and offers a 1L Diversity Fellowship. Applications for the Summer 2026 class closed in fall 2025.
