Applied Science Intern

Datadog's Applied Science team is hiring an intern for 2026. This 6-month internship starts in February, March, April, May, or June 2026. You'll work with senior applied scientists and engineers on problems across anomaly detection, time-series forecasting, log analytics, and LLM-based observability features. Responsibilities include designing experiments, building and evaluating models, shipping production-ready ML systems, and writing up findings for internal and external audiences. Qualifications: Pursuing a PhD or MS in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or relevant field; strong Python and ML framework experience (PyTorch/TensorFlow); familiarity with large-scale data systems. Onsite in NYC or Boston with relocation support and in-person intern cohort.
