Applied AI Engineer (Internship)

Fortinet is hiring an Applied AI Engineer Intern in Santa Clara for Summer 2026. The 10-12 week summer internship offers real-world projects aligned with your interests, with training and mentorship from senior staff and exposure to cutting-edge cybersecurity and AI technology. As an Applied AI Intern you'll work on ML models for threat detection, log analysis, and anomaly detection in network traffic, contributing to FortiAI and Security Fabric products. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in CS, Engineering, or Cybersecurity with a minimum 3.0 GPA; proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow); experience with Agile and Git. US hourly pay range $35-45.
