AtkinsRealis (formerly SNC-Lavalin) is recruiting Summer Nuclear Engineering Interns to support new-build small modular reactor (SMR) design, fleet operations, and nuclear decommissioning projects for utility and government clients. Interns contribute to thermal-hydraulic analysis, safety case preparation, licensing documentation, and 3D plant modeling. The 12-week program is based in Columbia, SC and Aiken, SC with structured mentoring from licensed engineers and a closing technical presentation. Paid with relocation assistance. Open to rising juniors/seniors and MS students in nuclear, mechanical, or chemical engineering. U.S. citizenship required.
