Verizon Summer 2026 Software Engineering Internship

Verizon is hiring Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 to help build the technology powering the nation's largest 5G network. As an intern, you will collaborate with senior engineers on live production projects spanning full-stack web development, cloud-native microservices, mobile applications, and network orchestration platforms. You'll write, test, and deploy code in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript, participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning within an agile environment, contribute to code reviews, and present a capstone project to leadership at the end of the 10-12 week program. Minimum qualifications: currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028; coursework or project experience in object-oriented programming and data structures. Preferred: exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, React, or CI/CD tooling. Paid internship with housing stipend for relocating students. Hybrid schedule in Basking Ridge, NJ or Irving, TX.
