Verizon Network Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

Join Verizon's Network Engineering team for Summer 2026 and help design, deploy, and optimize the infrastructure behind America's most awarded 5G and fiber networks. As a Network Engineering Intern, you will support RF planning, transport network design, core network operations, or network automation projects. You'll analyze network performance data, build automation scripts in Python, collaborate with field engineers, and contribute to real-world problem-solving around capacity, resiliency, and new site builds. Qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; graduation between December 2026 and August 2028; GPA 3.0+. Coursework in wireless communications, signal processing, TCP/IP, or network protocols preferred. Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or Linux is a plus. 10-week paid program with mentor pairing, executive speaker sessions, and conversion opportunity to full-time.
