Spectrum Network Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

Join Spectrum's Network Engineering team as a Summer 2026 Intern to help design, build, and operate one of the largest broadband networks in the United States. Interns support projects across DOCSIS 4.0 deployment, IP core architecture, optical transport, and network automation. You'll shadow senior engineers, write Python scripts for telemetry and configuration management, analyze network performance KPIs, and contribute to infrastructure documentation. Qualifications: currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or Telecommunications; expected graduation December 2026 - May 2028; familiarity with IP routing, Linux, and scripting; solid communication skills. Paid 10-week program, 40 hours per week, onsite in Charlotte, NC or Denver, CO. Housing stipend available.
