Quantum Cloud Services Intern - Summer 2026

Rigetti Computing is seeking a Quantum Cloud Services Intern for Summer 2026 in Berkeley, CA. You will work with software engineers building Rigetti's Quantum Cloud Services platform, which provides programmable access to our superconducting quantum processors. Projects may include API development, job scheduling, performance monitoring, SDK improvements to pyQuil, or integration with hybrid classical-quantum compute workflows. You will write production Python code, deploy services on Kubernetes, and interface directly with customers and researchers. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field; strong Python skills; experience with REST APIs, containerization, or cloud infrastructure; familiarity with quantum computing frameworks a plus but not required.
