Mechanical Engineering Intern - Spot & Stretch - Summer 2026

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 in Waltham, MA to support ongoing development of the Spot quadruped and Stretch warehouse robot platforms. You will contribute to mechanism design, tolerance analysis, component qualification, and hardware bring-up. Responsibilities include CAD work in Creo or SolidWorks, FEA, prototyping and testing, and partnering with manufacturing and electrical teams. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Robotics; hands-on design and prototyping experience; strong CAD proficiency; coursework in dynamics, machine design, or controls; familiarity with manufacturing processes a plus.
