Figure is developing Figure 02, a general-purpose humanoid robot. We are hiring an AI Research Intern in Sunnyvale, CA for Summer 2026 to work on end-to-end neural network policies for humanoid manipulation. Projects may include vision-language-action models, large-scale imitation learning, data pipeline development, real-robot policy evaluation, or reinforcement learning in simulation. You will work closely with research scientists building Helix, Figure's foundation model for humanoid control. Qualifications: PhD candidate (exceptional MS students considered) in CS, Robotics, or ML; strong publication record in robot learning, imitation learning, or foundation models; proficient with PyTorch; prior experience with real robots strongly preferred.
