Archer Aviation is hiring a Summer 2026 Battery Systems Engineering Intern in San Jose, CA to contribute to the battery pack and BMS development for our Midnight eVTOL aircraft. You will support cell testing, pack-level characterization, thermal modeling, and BMS validation. Expect hands-on test lab work, data analysis in Python, and close collaboration with certification, safety, and manufacturing teams. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering; coursework in battery systems, electrochemistry, or power electronics; Python/MATLAB scripting; prior battery lab or EV experience preferred.
