xAI is hiring Summer 2026 AI Research Engineer Interns in Palo Alto and San Francisco Bay Area to contribute to the Grok family of foundation models. You will work on large-scale pretraining, RL post-training, reasoning, tool use, or multimodal model development. Expect to train and evaluate large models on our Memphis supercomputer, implement novel research ideas, and contribute to production model releases.
