Research Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

Mistral AI is hiring a Summer 2026 Research Engineer Intern in Paris to contribute to next-generation open-weight and frontier models. Areas include pretraining, post-training (RLHF/DPO), efficient inference, long-context modeling, and multimodal extensions. You will work with experienced research engineers, run experiments at scale on GPU clusters, and contribute to models released to the open-source community and enterprise customers. Qualifications: PhD candidate (or exceptional MS) in ML/CS/Math; strong Python and PyTorch/JAX; publications at top ML venues or evidence of impactful open-source contributions; distributed training experience preferred.
