Propulsion Engineering Intern - Hypersonic - Summer 2026

Hermeus is hiring a Summer 2026 Propulsion Engineering Intern in Atlanta, GA to support development of Chimera, our turbine-based combined cycle engine, and the Quarterhorse and Darkhorse hypersonic aircraft programs. You will work on engine cycle analysis, test stand bring-up, data analysis, and engine-airframe integration. Qualifications: pursuing an MS/PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with focus on propulsion, turbomachinery, or high-speed aerodynamics; coursework in gas dynamics and propulsion systems; Python/MATLAB; US person status required due to ITAR.
