2026 Actuarial Summer Intern

The Travelers Actuarial Internship is a 10-12 week paid summer program designed for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Interns work alongside credentialed actuaries on meaningful projects across Personal Insurance, Business Insurance, or Bond & Specialty Insurance, including pricing analysis, loss reserving, predictive modeling, and catastrophe analytics. The program includes formal actuarial exam support (paid study time and reimbursement for passed exams), executive speaker series, networking events, and a capstone presentation. Candidates should have completed at least one actuarial exam and be proficient in Excel; experience with Python, R, or SQL is a plus. High-performing interns receive full-time offers into the Actuarial and Analytics Leadership Development Program.
