2026 Summer Underwriting Intern

Chubb's Summer Underwriting Internship provides undergraduates exposure to commercial property & casualty underwriting across specialty lines including financial lines, cyber, marine, accident & health, and middle market. The 10-week program is based primarily in Whitehouse Station, NJ, Philadelphia, or New York and pairs each intern with a senior underwriter mentor. Interns learn to analyze submissions, price risks, draft quote rationales, and participate in broker meetings. The program includes formal training in Chubb's underwriting framework, insurance fundamentals, and executive speaker sessions. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management & Insurance, Economics, Finance, or a related field with a minimum 3.3 GPA.
