Pacific Life's Actuarial Summer Internship is a 10-week paid program at the company's Newport Beach, CA headquarters. Interns join pricing, valuation, modeling, or ERM teams across Life Insurance, Retirement Solutions, or Pacific Life Re. Pacific Life provides paid study hours, full exam fee reimbursement, and salary increases upon passing SOA exams. Interns complete a capstone project, participate in executive speaker series, and attend cohort networking events including firm-hosted beach outings. Candidates should have passed at least one SOA exam, have a minimum 3.3 GPA, and major in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or Economics. Housing stipends are available for non-local interns.
