San Diego Padres 2026 Summer Baseball Operations Intern

The San Diego Padres are hiring a Baseball Operations Intern for summer 2026 at Petco Park. The intern will support the front office in preparing materials for the amateur draft, ongoing professional scouting coverage, and in-season advance scouting. Work includes building reports from the team's proprietary database, assisting scouts with administrative and logistical needs, and supporting special projects for the GM and assistant GMs. Applicants should be current undergraduates or recent graduates with strong Excel skills, baseline proficiency in SQL or Python, and an excellent understanding of current baseball player evaluation. This role is paid at $18 per hour and runs from late May through mid-August 2026; applicants must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays in line with the Padres' home game schedule.
