Texas Longhorns Athletics 2026 Strength & Conditioning Intern

Texas Athletics is hiring a Strength & Conditioning Intern for the 2026-27 academic year at the Frank Denius Fields and the Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center. The intern works under the direction of the S&C staff supporting Longhorn football, Olympic sports, or a rotation across multiple programs. Duties include leading warm-up and cool-down protocols, monitoring athlete readiness through wearable data and questionnaires, assisting with in-facility supervision of lifts, and contributing to research projects led by the performance staff. Candidates should be CSCS-certified (or eligible within 6 months), with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field and prior collegiate or professional S&C experience. The one-year internship begins July 2026 at an annual stipend of $28,000 and includes access to continuing education.
