Catapult Sports 2026 Sports Scientist Intern

Catapult Sports is hiring a Sports Scientist Intern on the Americas Sports Science Solutions team, based in the Chicago office. The intern supports elite team customers (NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA power-conference programs) with onboarding, data collection, athlete monitoring reports, and on-site education on Catapult's wearable technology. Work includes cleaning and interpreting GPS and IMU datasets, generating customer-facing performance reports, and partnering with product and R&D teams on new feature feedback. Candidates should be pursuing a master's or PhD in sports science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, or biomechanics, with proficiency in R or Python. The 12-week internship runs June through August 2026 at $25 per hour with limited travel to team facilities.
