Software Engineer Intern, Summer 2026

Paylocity is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 in Schaumburg, IL (hybrid). As an intern you will join a product squad building features for Paylocity's cloud HCM suite — payroll, benefits, talent, and workforce management — used by 40,000+ clients. You'll work in C#/.NET, React/TypeScript, and AWS, contributing production code under the guidance of senior engineers and a dedicated intern manager. The program includes tech talks, executive lunch-and-learns, a summer-long capstone, and social events. Strong performers are prioritized for new-grad offers. Qualifications: rising junior, senior, or graduate student in CS or related field; foundational coding skills; experience in at least one modern language (C#, Java, Python, TS); curiosity about SaaS product development.
