2026 Summer Intern - Chemical Engineering

Dow is hiring Chemical Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 at manufacturing sites in Freeport TX, Midland MI, and Plaquemine LA. Interns contribute to process optimization, troubleshooting production units, debottlenecking capital projects, safety and sustainability analyses, and Six Sigma improvement initiatives. Interns are paired with a technical mentor and a site sponsor, attend a Dow University intern kickoff, deliver a capstone technical presentation to site leadership, and participate in networking with Dow's business leaders. Candidates must be pursuing a BS or MS in Chemical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong technical communication skills. Dow provides competitive pay, relocation, and housing stipend. US work authorization required; Dow does not sponsor interns for this program. Applications for the Summer 2026 cohort closed November 2025.
