Steel Dynamics is hiring a Summer 2026 Metallurgical Engineering Intern at the Butler IN Flat Roll Mill and Columbus MS Flat Roll Mill. Intern will support steel production metallurgy including caster optimization, rolling mill setup, chemistry control, and defect analysis. Pursuing BS or MS in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA. 12-week paid program with housing stipend. US work authorization required; Steel Dynamics does not sponsor interns.
