Software Engineer Intern

Linear is hiring a small cohort of Summer 2026 Software Engineering Interns to work alongside our core engineering team on the issue tracker used by modern software teams like OpenAI, Vercel, and Ramp. Interns will ship real features end-to-end: recent intern projects have included extending the Linear GraphQL API, prototyping keyboard-driven workflows for Cycles, and contributing to the Linear MCP server. We're a small, high-bandwidth team - there is no intern-specific track; interns are treated like full engineers with ownership over meaningful work. Strong candidates have shipped projects publicly and are proficient in TypeScript.
