Backend Engineering Intern

Supabase is hiring a Summer 2026 Backend Engineering Intern to work on the open-source Postgres-based backend platform used by hundreds of thousands of developers. Interns will contribute to the Supabase monorepo across services like PostgREST customizations, Realtime (Elixir), Storage (Go), and Edge Functions (Deno). Typical projects include extending the Supabase CLI, improving cold-start times for Edge Functions, or shipping new features for Database Webhooks. Supabase is fully remote and async - interns work in public on GitHub and pair with the core engineering team. Strong candidates have shipped open-source projects and are comfortable with PostgreSQL internals.
