Software Engineer Intern

Clerk is hiring a Summer 2026 Software Engineering Intern to work on the authentication and user management platform trusted by developers at companies like Perplexity, Mistral, and Runway. The intern will contribute across the Clerk stack: the React/Next.js component library used by tens of thousands of apps, the Go-based auth backend, and our developer SDKs (Node, Python, Ruby, Go). Expect to pair directly with our founders and core engineers, ship production code in week one, and present customer-facing work. Clerk is a small remote-first team - we look for candidates with strong shipped projects and excellent written communication.
