Cloud Security Research Intern - Summer 2026

CyberArk Labs is seeking a Cloud Security Research Intern for Summer 2026 to investigate emerging attack techniques against cloud workloads, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems. You will contribute to published research similar to our 'golden SAML' and 'shadow admin' discoveries, develop proof-of-concept exploits and defensive tools, and collaborate with our red team on testing customer environments. Responsibilities include reverse engineering cloud IAM behaviors across AWS/Azure/GCP, building automation in Python and PowerShell, writing detection logic, and producing blog posts and conference submissions. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Cybersecurity or Computer Science; hands-on experience with at least one public cloud; understanding of IAM, OAuth, and token-based attacks; scripting fluency in Python; prior CTF, OSCP study, or open-source security tooling contributions strongly preferred.
