Machine Learning Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

Abnormal Security is hiring Machine Learning Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 to work on the behavioral AI platform that stops advanced email attacks for 2,000+ enterprises. You will develop features and labels, train production classifiers, and deploy models to our real-time scoring infrastructure that processes billions of emails per month. Projects include improving BEC and VEC attack detection, building new LLM-powered phishing analyzers, and developing offline evaluation pipelines in Spark and Snowflake. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Statistics; strong fluency in Python and one DL framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow); solid foundations in probability, NLP, or representation learning; experience deploying models to production strongly preferred.
