Security Research Intern - Summer 2026

F5 Labs is hiring a Security Research Intern for Summer 2026 to contribute to our published threat research and intelligence programs. You will investigate web application attacks, API abuse, credential stuffing, and bot traffic across F5's global telemetry; build detections for our Distributed Cloud Bot Defense product; and help author the F5 Labs quarterly reports. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Statistics; experience analyzing web traffic, HTTP headers, and TLS fingerprints; Python scripting fluency; familiarity with SQL and data analysis; prior security research, CTF, or bot defense experience preferred.
