Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

HackerOne is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 to build the platform trusted by 1,700+ organizations including the US Department of Defense to run bug bounty and VDP programs. You will contribute to the Rails monolith powering hackerone.com, the Go microservices that drive our attack surface management product, or our React front-end. Projects include building new triage workflows for program teams, improving reporter experience, or developing integrations with Jira and GitHub. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; proficiency in Ruby, Go, TypeScript, or Python; interest in building developer tooling and security products. HackerOne is fully distributed; interns work remotely with an optional onsite kickoff week.
