Machine Learning Engineer Intern - Trust & Safety

Discord's Trust & Safety ML team is hiring an intern for Summer 2026 to build classifiers and detection systems that keep our platform safe for gamers. You will work on abuse detection, spam, and content moderation models serving billions of messages per week. Projects involve large language models, graph-based analysis, and real-time scoring infrastructure. Qualifications: Pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related technical field graduating Dec 2026 - June 2027; strong Python; experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or large-scale ML serving; familiarity with NLP or safety-related ML problems a plus.
