Tax and Audit Intern - Summer 2026 - Greater Chicagoland

CLA's Greater Chicagoland Summer 2026 Tax and Audit Intern program places students in Chicago, Oak Brook (IL), and Schererville (IN) offices with a rotational exposure across both service lines. Interns prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns; perform audit, review, and compilation procedures; and learn to use firm tools including CCH Axcess, CaseWare, and CLA proprietary workflow tools. Interns are matched with a Career Advisor, complete CLA's inspired-career learning curriculum, and receive structured midterm and final performance feedback. Wage range is $16–$55/hour depending on geography and class year. A bachelor's degree in accounting with CPA eligibility pathway is strongly preferred.
