Hensel Phelps 2026 Summer Field Engineering Intern

Hensel Phelps is seeking Field Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 on projects including airport expansions, federal courthouses, and semiconductor fabs. Interns will live on or near the jobsite and work directly under superintendents and project engineers to manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and daily field reports. Assignments rotate through concrete, steel, and MEP scopes. The 12-week paid program includes weekly training sessions, a mentor assignment, and a capstone presentation. Candidates must be pursuing a BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering and must be willing to relocate nationally.
