Kiewit's Summer 2026 Field Engineer Internship places students on heavy civil, energy, mining, and infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, dams, and power plants. Interns work directly in the field assisting with surveying, cost coding, productivity tracking, and QC inspections. Assignments include remote project locations with per diem and travel covered. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering with minimum 3.0 GPA. The 12-week paid program is widely regarded as one of the top construction internships and has a high full-time conversion rate. Applications closed February 2026.
