Algorithmic Trading Internship - Summer 2026

Wintermute is one of the largest crypto-native algorithmic trading firms, providing liquidity across centralized exchanges and DeFi. The Algorithmic Trading Internship is a Summer 2026 program based in central London. From day one, interns dive straight into high-impact projects with real responsibility and ownership well beyond what's typical of traditional finance internships. You will design and backtest market-making and signal-based trading strategies, contribute Python code to the production trading stack, collaborate with experienced traders and quant researchers, and operate in the 24/7 digital asset markets. Qualifications: pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a quantitative field; strong Python coding; solid statistics and probability foundations; understanding of market microstructure is a plus; competitive programming or Kaggle track record welcome.
