Summer 2026 Operations Management Internship

Old Dominion Freight Line, the largest US LTL carrier by revenue, is hiring Operations Management Interns for Summer 2026 at our Thomasville, NC headquarters and select service centers nationwide. Interns complete a 10-week program immersed in LTL freight operations: linehaul planning, dock supervision, P&D dispatching, and service center management. You will partner with a Service Center Manager mentor, analyze operational performance using our internal TMS, and present an improvement project to regional leadership. Qualifications: pursuing a BA/BS graduating Dec 2026 - Jun 2027 in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Transportation, or related field; 3.0+ GPA; willingness to relocate; interest in a front-line operations career.
