ML Engineer Intern, Summer 2026

Robin AI is the contract AI platform used by PepsiCo, KPMG, and Clifford Chance to draft, review, and negotiate contracts faster. We are hiring an ML Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 based in New York. You will work with our AI research team on production-grade LLM systems: fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, and inference optimization. Projects could include training domain-adapted models on legal corpora, building evaluation harnesses for clause extraction and obligation tracking, optimizing latency of our agent workflows, or developing new prompting techniques for negotiation assistance. Qualifications: pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or Computational Linguistics; strong Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face experience; familiarity with LLM fine-tuning, distributed training, or RAG systems. Prior ML research or applied AI internships required. Compensation is highly competitive including base plus housing stipend.
