As a field intern, you'll work side-by-side with experienced professionals to learn the ins and outs of various construction processes and contribute to real projects across Northeast Florida. Position Description

  • Work alongside the superintendent to coordinate on-site activities, including subcontractor scheduling, material deliveries, and equipment logistics.
  • Assist in monitoring construction quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes.
  • Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and audits to promote a safe working environment. Help implement safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist in documenting project progress, including daily logs, photos, and reports. Provide updates to project stakeholders as required.
  • Support the Superintendent in managing subcontractors, including coordinating their work, resolving issues, and ensuring their adherence to project requirements.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively.
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn about construction practices, project management techniques, and industry standards. Take part in training sessions and mentorship programs provided by the company.

Position Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program focused in Building Construction Management or related field.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
